"Thanks to the many positive reviews on Yelp, we found, hired and collaborated with April to help facilitate the design and renovation of our 500 square-foot condo in Waikiki. We had no idea how many decisions would be involved in a floor-to-ceiling renovation to make our penthouse a place we are proud to call home. April was the creative professional we had hoped we could find! Her enthusiasm, instincts, experience technical skills and follow through were exactly what we needed, all at a very reasonable price. We discussed priorities, then she measured our tiny home and created a design that she adjusted for us along the way, using a technology-based program that helped us understand and visualize how all the components were going to work and look together. She also developed storyboards for us to use to discuss and research color, lighting, furniture, and accessories. She recommended our bedroom furniture, which we love! She introduced us to a variety of vendors, including the construction manager, custom closet creators, lighting professionals, etc. We found local custom shoji screen craftsmen, and she readily integrated their designs into our plan. We met several times in person and online, and she was always positive and maintained her sense of humor, in the face of the pandemic and supply chain issues. April made us feel that our dream was always within reach, and we have been happily living in the condo that we designed together ever since!"
